Mills Canyon, Burlingame (5)
This canyon is close to home, a wilderness hidden in the heart of the city. The entire hike, my brother played with GPS (on his new technotoy...an iPhone). Barb and I did macro studies. -
Energy Orbs—Mtn. Home Ranch, Calistoga (3)
They are happening all over the world on sacred land, at sacred events, where love shows up...these orbs are showing up in people's photos. Just google (on google images) "energy orbs" if you want to know more about them. -
Academy of Sciences (5)
All sorts of things to see in this interactive, wondrous collection of living and historical collections of life on this planet. -
Fruit Stands—Half Moon Bay (4)
Went looking for a field of sunflowers and found Andreotti's Farm stand filled with luscious fruits, vegetables and 2 day old honey straight from local hives. -
Mountain Meditation (10)
One night at Mountain Home Ranch, Calistoga CA, was relaxing, rejuvenating, and energizing. I walked at dawn (95 degrees in the afternoon that day). I'm awed by John and Suzanne's stewardship of their 300 acres of nature just outside San Francisco. -

I love this time of year. It's stunningly fragrant as well as beautiful. -
"Down By The River" - angels (2)
The exercise was angels - a little figurine we sketched (missing some toes). -
Artists at "Down By The River" (3)
These kids are so fun to be around... totally inspiring. This is Emily (6 yrs). Click & see Patty - then the journal page about Patty ... she continues to inspire me. -
Sturgeon "Down By The River" (3)
Chris Spencer tossed out a drawing of a sturgeon (a local river inhabitant) and that was one of the exercises that day. Draw a fish w/diamond studded sides. -
Fruit Stands—Cambodia (3)
Taken in the Russian Market in the middle of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The biggest tent mall I've ever been in. Winding walkways take you through a myriad of scents, food cooking, incense, perfumes, and into piles of textiles, knock-off music & movies, and tourist trinkets. Favorite purchase: Elephant bag - $1.00. -
Fruit Stands—Big Island (3)
I do my best to visit my cousin who lives in Waimea - at least once a year. It's a trusting culture, a slower pace, fabulous fruits and flowers. -
Fruit Stands—Local CA (3)
I love being able to walk to the market. Stanford Mall at Easter is awesome for flowers - and fruit as you can see. -
Fruit Stands—Muir Woods (3)
Cousin Barb and I went on a day trip to Muir Woods - a foggy day. We stopped here, then ate well as we passed busload after busload of tourists at the woods. We went on instead to Stinson Beach, Bolinas and Pt. Reyes Bird Refuge. Figs, yum. -
Fruit Stands—Egypt (3)
The best of my Egyptian fruit stands. We'd pass stand after stand between Cairo and Port Said. Coming back late at night (midnight on business trip), I asked Sherif if we could stop. The guys selling fruit offered me the sweetest strawberry. I asked if I could pay or tip..."no, they would be offended," he said.
